Abstract: The author describes a rigorous series of experiments consisting of sitting still and staring real hard at the objects of inquiry. Occasional paw pats have also been applied in the interests of science. It is the author's considered opinion that ice disappears in his water bowl, only to reappear upstairs as a piece of paper emerging from the mechanical object humans call a "printer." The author pledges to continue close study of these inter-related phenomena as long as humans do not shout "Get Off the damn printer!!" too loudly and thus disrupt his train of thought.
