Or mylar balloons. Or random parts from AmSci. My JOC contains only an off-the-shelf string of LED lights with a battery pack. And now an aluminum pole (from the foil that lined the brownie pan, thus it has some history). But anyone with electronics chops and some blinkie parts could surely build something wonderful. And I look forward to seeing what you come up with ;-)
