Hurricane: what?
Ok, technically Isaac won't be a hurricane any longer when it reaches Chicon 7 as projected. Bring unbrellas anyway. Is Asimov trying to tell us something?
Preview of The Island of Doctor Moreau tonight at the Oak Park Public Library, 7:00 sharp. Free to anyone who straggles into the door. Not really advertised because it's not really a show, more like 2nd tech and final dress at once (and you know how well that usually works) but if you're in the neighborhood stop in. Expect rough edges and lots of microphone cables. The Blake Family Steampunk Orchestra is missing 1/3rd of its personnel (DeKalb til Thursday night) so the piano parts are recorded and people who do not have giant hands will nevertheless attempt to play tenor recorder.
