Put on your Sunday clothes

When we saw WALL-E,  I predicted (out loud, I have witnesses) that we'd soon be seeing a lot more of Hello Dolly.  Little did I know.  Son is rehearsal pianist and pit musician for Dolly at his old high school this summer.  I'll be getting a head start on the empty nest next week, according to this schedule we just received via email (love the last line):
 
Monday, July 20
12:45 IN THE PIT (or whenever you get out of summer school)
1:00-4:00 Tech Act I
4:00-5:00  Dinner on your own
5:00-9:00 Tech Act I

Tuesday, July 21
12:45 IN THE PIT (or whenever you get out of summer school)
1:00-4:00 Tech Act II
4:00-5:00 Dinner on your own
5:00-9:00 Tech Act II

Wednesday, July 22
12:45 IN THE PIT (or whenever you get out of summer school)
1:00-3:30 Tech on Entire Show
3:30-6:15  LONG BREAK (don't forget to eat dinner)
6:15 IN THE PIT
6:30-9:30  DRESS REHEARSAL (GOAL:  No Stopping!!!)

Thursday, July 23
12:45 IN THE PIT (or whenever you get out of summer school)
1:00-3:30 Tech on Entire Show
3:30-6:15  LONG BREAK  - Production Dinner (Time TBA)
6:15 IN THE PIT
6:30-9:30  DRESS REHEARSAL (GOAL:  No Stopping!!!)

Friday, July 24
6:50 PM Be in the band room
7:10 PM IN THE PIT
7:30 CURTAIN for OPENING NIGHT - Overture!!!!

Saturday, July 25
6:50 PM Be in the band room
7:10 PM IN THE PIT
7:30 CURTAIN  - Overture!!!!

Sunday, July 26 (This is someone's birthday.  Hint:  You favorite person in the entire world...)
2:20 PM Be in the band room
2:40 PM IN THE PIT
3:00 Curtain
IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE SHOW:  Stack chairs, stack stands, dismantle stand lights, wrap cords, basically strike the pit.  This should take 10-15 minutes if everyone participates.
