acmespaceshipThe Ukulele Club of Oak Park will be busking tonight and Saturday at the Harrison Street Arts Festival. We don't believe in no stinkin' playlists. But here are some of our favorite songs of the moment. And yes, Squeezebox makes a great uke tune.

Dance Me To the End of Love by Leonard Cohen and also Suzanne but using Nina Simone's latin rhythm so it doesn't drag on miserably like we all know it tends to do
That deal where we start playing Lime in the Coconut and it segues into Feelin' Alright and then cycles through seven or eight other songs and winds up back at Lime in the Coconut 20 minutes later (yes, people have timed it) although I can't really recommend this
And The Sloop John B -- although the whole point is to get to the a cappella chorus, during which we are not playing ukuleles which is a rather surrealistic thing for an ukulele club to do as a signature tune but there you go.
We perform Hawaiian music if you pay us.
