The Long, Strange Trip Continues

acmespaceshipThe ferret just climbed back into her cage for a nap. I have discovered the one thing that always gets her to stop running up and down the hallway and go back to her room to sleep.
The Grateful Dead. Greatest Hits. Played on the CD player in her room.
Does she like the music? Or does she hate it enough to fall asleep to escape it? Really, I think it reminds her of having her "cagemate" (my son) hanging around playing CD's in their room. She knows perfectly well he is not home (he's at college) but does she pretend? Nostalgia? A pavlovian response to the sound? Whatever her reasoning, at 1.2 lbs she must be the smallest Deadhead anywhere.
