Happy National Kazoo Day

It might be National Kazoo Day!  Or maybe it's on Saturday.  Read the State of the Kazoo 2012 Address here.

Good thing we played Somewhere Over the Rainbow during services at Unity Temple last week.  Or I might have felt compelled to do something that could have been considered disrespectful to Unitarians... or to Frank Lloyd Wright.  I like Unitarians, but Frank can stuff it (we Oak Parkers still think of Frank as a local boy, and what a douche he was).

Now for tonight's uke club meeting: I have wire, and I have a kazoo.  Do I wire the kazoo around my neck like a harmonica... or onto the ukulele... or have it hang down from a hat?  Decisions, decisions...

I'm proud to say that I'm not only a kazoo player, but that I was born in Kazoo. Which, I should explain, is a common local nickname for Kalamazoo (though the local paper used to spell it K'zoo. But it was always pronounced Kazoo, and I think other people spelled it that way).
