Email from a college that will remain nameless:

This letter is being sent to inform you that you have yet to receive a housing offer for 2009-2010 academic year.   However, we are diligently working towards fulfilling your request.

This from a college that has sent a financial aid offer but hasn't yet sent an official acceptance letter.  I am increasingly convinced that I should give Larry $200 and a one-way ticket on the City of New Orleans; by the time he works his way back to Chicago he'll be a jazz pianist (or dead) and either way college will be irrelevant.

One more big audition tomorrow.  If he nails it, the wave function collapses.  If not, we'll go back in the box with Schrodinger's cat:  Berklee?  Columbia?  Berklee?  Columbia?
