What About That Guy?
The great thing about birding Fermilab is that nothing makes sense. Double-crested cormorants in the middle of the Illinois prairie? Buffalo grazing above a particle accelerator? Killdeer in the reflecting pool? Sure, why not? Didn't see any coyotes this trip, but that's exactly how they want it. I did see frogs, but they were hard to find and I didn't take pictures, lest the egrets were paying attention.

I was off running Construction Worker Fantasy Camp for a select group of clients.
Turns out it's easy to acquire the habit of passing tools and glasses of orange juice through the walls and floors, once the walls and floors have been removed.

You could leave holes in the walls for future OJ passing. My aunt's vacation house had a little window in the front porch screen. We called it the Dairy Queen window and used it to pass drinks to the front yard. Made a routine task seem a little more exciting. Or maybe we were terribly bored.
Please let us know about your next Fantasy Camp. I have a Tall and Young man who needs to earn his keep.

Between O'Hare and Midway, it's hard to take a shot anywhere around here without airplanes. I like airplanes, so I do not consider this a problem. I do need to find an ID book for aircraft: I know those are double-crested cormorants, but I have no idea what type of plane is flying above them.
