Writer's Block: I Can Relate
Jun. 19th, 2009 02:06 pm[Error: unknown template qotd]Charlotte.
A true friend and a good writer.
Or so I've been trying to become since 4th grade when Mrs. Grove read Charlotte's Web aloud to the class, one chapter a day, except she insisted on reading the last two chapters together because the end of the penultimate chapter is perhaps the most emotionally devastating piece of fiction in the English language and she said she'd only made that mistake once.
No one was with her when she died. Can you imagine a class of 4th graders for the rest of the afternoon?
